Born from a backyard hustle in the middle of a global pandemic, we’ve always believed that if you want something done right, you do it yourself. So when Andy built the first hard lid for his ute during lockdown, it had to be strong, easy to use, and built to last – because he was the one using it.
Andy is no mad hatter by the way, he has been in the CAD industrial design and ute accessories industry for many years before he made Lid #1.
After his mate purchased Lid #1 off the back of his Ranger this is where RAD FOR UTES started, and now 3 years later RAD Vehicle Accessories is here to play.
FAQ
Most of our hard lids are made to order, with an approximately 3 week turn around.
Start by finding your ute make and model, customise your lids with any upgrades and hit the enquire button, fill out your details and submit. No need to pay anything up front.
Once we confirm all the details for your ute are correct, we’ll get to work on your lid, and send you an invoice.
If you think you have the skills, then go for it!
All our lids are no drill install, but do require some practical skills. Get in touch with us to discuss the process, or to find one of our fitment partners.
We stand by the quality of our design, materials and workmanship, and we offer a 2 year warranty on all RAD Hard Lids from date of purchase.
This warranty doesn’t cover normal wear and tear, damage caused from accidents, hard or improper use or storage.
If you believe your lid has a defect upon delivery, please let us know straight away so we can look into this for you. Failure to let us know straight away may cause more damage and void your warranty.
